The Company was formed for the purpose of owning, upon conversion, the ownership of all of the outstanding common stock of State-Investors Bank. State-Investors Bank is a mutual savings bank. State-Investors Bank's principal business has been accepting deposits from the general public and using those deposits to make residential and commercial loans to individuals and businesses located primarily in the parishes in which the Company has branch offices, which are a part of the seven parishes New Orleans-Metairie-Kenner Metropolitan Statistical Area. State-Investors Bank operates as a traditional savings and loan association with a focus on one- to four-family residential loans in its primary market area.
